I love this approach. Another podcast that's taking a really collaborative approach is Water Talk out of University of California Ag & Natural Resources. They're using the recording sessions to create community and a sense of audience (this happens mid-week), and then dropping the actual podcast on Friday. Results from the June 2020 Farm Journal Story Lead Contest
In May, the eXtension Foundation launched a monthly story lead contest in partnership with Farm Journal in the Farm Journal Monthly Story Lead Contest group here in Connect Extension. Know that CDC also has a toolkit for essential works (think ag and food workers) is also important as well as we collaborate with our partners in Ag, Forestry, Sea Grant, and such.
