National Recovery Month (Recovery Month), which started in 1989, is a national observance held every September to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the nationβs strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and communities who make recovery in all its forms possible.- https://www.samhsa.gov/recovery-month
What is your organization doing to observe National Recovery Month? In Wisconsin, we spreading the message of hope through our social media channels. Our county educators are working with their coalitions and communities to spread the word. Finally, our ROTA project, Great Lakes ROTA-RC is hosting a webinar about the harm reduction gap.
