Some reminders...

At an appointment the other day Sesame Street was on the TV in the waiting room. Naturally, everyone from kids to adults was watching it. One of the adults looks over at me and says; "I stopped watching this show years ago, I already know most of that stuff." ðŸĪĢ

Even if you know all that stuff already, it's still nice to have a reminder every once in a while! Here goes...

There's never been another person like you on the planet, and there won't ever be another person like you. Your core values drive your leadership, are felt by others through your behaviors, and result in your influence with others. The point is...

"Who you are is how you lead."
-Brene' Brown

Take time to reflect on the person you intend to be and know the person you're becoming is far more important than who you were before. Keep growing in the direction you know is right for you!

Peace, love, and acceptance start with you, then others. So...

Don't give up.

Be proud of yourself.

Be you.

Kindness is free.

You were made for a specific purpose.

You are loved.

Happiness comes from yourself.

You can do this.

You are irreplaceable.

Everything you go through grows you.

When times are hard, they too will pass.

It's okay not to be okay.

You must believe in yourself first.

Be kind for no reason.

You will overcome whatever you're dealing with now.

Strive for progress, not perfection.

Growth is a process.

A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.

Never stop learning, life will never stop teaching.

The important things in life are not "soft" skills they're human skills. These are all leadership skills. Keep leading, we need you!
