This group will be used as a means of posting news about Ask Extension, as well as a way for the experts to share information with each other. Good evening -- A new push went out to the Ask Extension server yesterday evening that includes the following fixes: *Expert creation should be repaired *New experts will automatically be set to 'on vacation' after creation *KB pages should have more accurate metadata when shared on social media

The following updates were deployed to Ask Extension yesterday: Now experts can search by a tag when using advanced search There was an error we were seeing that happened when someone tried to save a change to an expert when there was an error in the form, should be corrected now Please experiment with the search by tags feature and let us know what you think. Admins can now grant experts permission to edit other experts (only admins can change this permission, and experts with this permission cannot change admin accounts). This is similar to the "Helping Hand" feature in the old Ask an Expert system. A minor change to how osTicket serves files to make copying knowledgebase entries over easier (this shouldn't have any visible changes to users)

The Ask Extension production server has been updated with the following fixes: Counties that had been missing from the widget should be visible again Expert's vacation status should now be visible from the directory Note notification emails should now go out to the assigned expert You can now see if a question is locked from the queue

-Experts should now be able to reopen a closed question if they have editing permission - Standardized language about inactive experts ('Retired' vs 'Locked'/'Disabled') - Added the ability for experts to reassign a question to their own group in order to reassign the question to a new expert - Reopened questions are now reassigned to the original expert, additionally that expert will always receive a notification that there's a new response (even if they're on vacation)

What is the Response Time in the Dashboard? The explanation isn't clear to me. Is this the number of hours I was signed in while answering questions? "Shows an average response time by an Expert, in hours, to question correspondence."
