Slack - tackling communication for your team

Slack is an online tool that facilitates communication, document sharing, archiving, and more within a team. Because communications aren't hidden across multiple peoples inboxes, information is easily searched, shared, and discovered across the entire team. Everyone can stay informed about others activities, understand the progress of a project, and know where to ask for help.

In this session, Rich Phelps, Project Manager for the eXtension Foundation, will discuss the challenges of working in a distributed team and how Slack addresses makes collaboration easier.

This session is one in a series of webinars about Online Collaboration Tools sponsored by the Network Literacy Community of Practice.

We hope that you will bring your questions and comments as we discuss these issues.
