This 1-hr session of Nutrition Update hosted by the Oregon State University Moore Family Center for Nutrition will occur during the Immersive Learning Research Network 7th International Annual Conference.
Key Session Goals:
- Increase the understanding and appreciation of the cultural differences and digital divides in delivering nutrition education and cooking lessons to specific cultural groups.
- Create a “Talent Marketplace” for the attendees, presenters, and facilitators to exchange ideas, best practices and program resources to increase nutrition educator’s cultural competencies and technology competencies to increase teaching skill, learning outcomes, and positive in dietary behavior.
There will be a panel discussion, followed by a more in-depth, virtual roundtable conversation about culture-specific challenges and creative solutions.
