Survey: Help Us Understand and Strengthen Mental Health Efforts in Extension

A critical issue in many communities across the United States is the health and well-being of their residents. Extension is well-positioned, particularly in rural communities, to provide local, community-engaged programs that can promote health and well-being and strengthen community resilience. Many of you are already working on projects that address the mental health and well-being of diverse populations in your communities.

Why Your Input Matters

This survey serves two key purposes:

  1. Mapping Extension’s Mental Health Efforts – We want to capture the breadth of mental health and well-being initiatives happening across Extension.
  2. Understanding Educator Confidence & Literacy – We aim to assess the self-efficacy, confidence, and mental health literacy of Extension educators nationwide.

Your input is valuable! The survey includes only two open-ended questions and takes about 15 minutes to complete.

The survey can be accessed:

Note:
If you already completed this survey in Fall/Winter 2024, there’s no need to fill it out again.
