New EXCITE Interactive Dashboard with Video Feature

EXCITE announces a new interactive Dashboard that displays data of the 72 "Education" programs and 24 "Pilot Projects" of the EXCITE program. This Dashboard was created so anyone can view details and data of their local Extension immunization education projects. The Dashboard data and videos communicate EXCITE's reach, value, and story and it replaces the interactive map after making changes to better serve the projects' needs.

The Dashboard is easy to navigate and reflects up-to-date data collected from the projects and can be viewed by clicking on a state or institution. Projects' data reflected on the Dashboard includes the total reach number and a breakdown of reach metrics by activity for COVID-19 and other adult immunizations, project description, healthcare partners, and details of their priority population.

A notable component of the new Dashboard is the addition of institutions' Spotlight Sessions videos, which are short presentations from teams of their project's story found by clicking "Spotlight Video" next to "Program Details". These stories add such significance to the data. The EXCITE program team and partners are continually impressed and inspired after hearing about projects' creativity and innovation, and the resiliency showed when facing pushback and changes from the Covid-19 Pandemic. From the new assets developed, new community partners formed, new media utilized, and the overall impact on educating their community, it is special to hear from the teams about what they have accomplished in this amount of time.  The project videos help showcase the success multiple institutions across diverse populations have had, despite the many obstacles. The videos will continue to be added to the Dashboard as the teams present throughout the year.

There is plenty of data to explore with 72 Education projects, and 26 Piolet projects spanning all geographic and 1862, 1890, and 1994 regions with unique priority populations and methods! Take a look for yourself at the new Dashboard to see what approach Extension is taking in your state to address Vaccine Education!
