A person with a traumatic brain injury (a survivor) may experience physical effects, changes in thinking and communication, and alterations in emotional well-being and behavior. The program will include a series of topics including the “basics” of traumatic brain injury; the impact of TBI on survivors physically, cognitively, emotionally, and behaviorally; the consequences of TBI for survivors in relationships, activities of daily living, and work; and how individuals and communities can support survivors and their families.
