Food animal agriculture has become more concentrated in geographically discrete production centers in the United States in recent decades. At the same time, billion dollar weather disasters have become a regular occurrence. What can we learn by understanding the vulnerabilities of our food animal production systems that we can translate into resilience strategies?

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators.
