IT IS NOT ANOTHER CURRICULUM BUT A TOOL
This 3 1/2-hour immersive virtual training will focus on:
- Scientific theories and research in the area of mindfulness
- Cultivating mindfulness practice for self
- Introduction and experiential learning related to mindfulness practices with their adaptations (environment and audience)
- Ways of creating a safer environment and addressing challenges, doubts, misunderstanding
- Identifying research-based resources their audiences
- Working with vulnerable audiences with trauma, addiction, mental health concerns
- Variety of ways mindfulness can be applied in any existing program
