This webinar is applicable to agents, specialists, and certain members of support staff who collaborate with experts on how to reach clients. I will demonstrate free software such as Canva Google docs, and Trello which are free tools you can use to create editorial/shared calendars, and visual graphics that will help draw attention to your events online. Each of these tools can be used in collaboration with team members who work remotely.
Content strategy, branding, and creating effective “Call to Action” buttons for digital media will be introduced as well as the “dos and don’ts” associated with accessibility for images when creating graphics for digital media. Our team’s experience working with the new Facebook algorithm while encouraging fan growth and event attendance will be included in this webinar.
I have led the social media and digital media efforts for Arkansas Extension since 2013. Statistics garnered from 4 years of social media posts and e-newsletter engagement are the basis for the efficacy of the presentation materials. Translating digital media engagement numbers into data our specialists and agents can report to NIFA is where the rubber meets the road. Knowing HOW your digital media efforts supporting your programming is key. We will cover how our social media team has increased our engagement with social media and how we reach new – and engaged - followers every day.
