Food Safety and Liability Webinar

8/24: Food Safety and Liability - Learn about the legal claims a litigant can assert in a food borne illness case, defenses that can be asserted to avoid liability and techniques that can be implemented to reduce the cost and exposure to food borne illness liability.  Also included will be an overview of the section of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) applicable to fruit and vegetable farmers known as the Produce Rule.

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs.
