Field Day: Bioenergy Willow at Celtic Energy Farm

Over 800 acres of shrub willow plantings will be showcased on September 20th for farmers, landowners, and others interested in the development of this sustainable perennial crop. Multiple partners collaborate on this USDA-funded Biomass Crop Assistance Project, including NYSERDA, SUNY-ESF, Double-A Willow, the NYS Ag Experiment Station in Geneva, NY, Cato Analytics, and sponsor ReEnergy, whose Black River power plant will be the ultimate destination for the harvested willow.
