Bury Seeds, Not Stress Webinar Series: Men and Mental Health — Breaking the Silence

This webinar examines the prevalence of mental health issues among men as well as the barriers to seeking and receiving treatment — and how to try to overcome them. How to recognize signs and symptoms, including reluctance to communicate or minimizing symptoms, will be discussed. A framework of how to have initial conversations with men about mental health will also be shared.

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs.
