Register for the National Extension Tourism conference before 8/25

The 2023 National Extension Tourism Conference is coming up quickly, and registration is closing soon. Please be sure to register by August 25, and share this opportunity with your colleagues!
Scheduled for September 24-27 in Milwaukee, WI, this is an outstanding opportunity for Extension professionals, academic faculty, industry professionals, and others working in the broad area of tourism and recreation! To quote UNH Extension's Jada Lindblom:
"In my experience, this is THE conference for tourism educators, researchers, and practitioners who center their work upon principles of community development, local engagement, and knowledge-sharing."

But don't take our word for it - come see for yourself!

Important points to note:
  • Travel scholarships are still available! Priority for available scholarship funding will go to participants from underrepresented institutions (e.g., 1890s, 1994s, and other minority-serving institutions), county extension offices, and State Rural Development Councils. We also have funding available to specifically support student participation (see next point) with priority for participants from underrepresented institutions and Sea Grant professionals. Learn more here.
  • Students are welcome at NET, and are eligible for a reduced registration rate and potential scholarship funding. We also welcome additional poster presentation submissions from students through August 25, 2023. Learn more here.
  • The complete conference schedule is available on Oxford Abstracts.
  • Have you seen the fantastic mobile workshop lineup? Check it out and register today to secure your spot!

We hope to see you in Milwaukee in September!
