Position Announcement - University of Kentucky West Regional Extension Director

University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension is currently accepting applications for West Regional Extension Director. The West Regional Extension Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of UK Extension operations in 39 counties in west Kentucky. Responsibilities include direct supervision of all Area Extension Directors within the region with indirect supervision of all other regional employees, professional development for Area Directors within the region, and region-wide strategic leadership planning including, but not limited to fiscal oversight, program management, compliance, and government relations. This position fosters teamwork and communication throughout the region, promotes effective programming, and instills the values of UK. In addition, this position works collaboratively with the East and Central Regional Extension Directors to provide statewide leadership for county operations. The office location is the UK Research and Education Center located in Princeton, Ky. The full position description is available here.
