National Juntos Consortium (NJC) Update: October 3rd, 2023

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to join us on October 3, 2023 from 2:00pm-3:15 EST for the National Juntos Consortium (NJC) update. You can learn more about the new direction Juntos is taking to support its growing community.   

During this call, you can expect the following items to be discussed

  • NJC initiation timeline
  • Breakdown of the NJC membership package
  • YEA Juntos Award

Juntos is one of five projects awarded the NIFA’s Youth Innovators Empowering Agriculture Across America (YEA) program, part of the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI). This project will support the development of the Juntos STEM Agriculture Pathways (AP) model and support the structure of the National Juntos Consortium.

Mark your calendars for October 3, 2023 2:00pm-3:15 EST, and if you can not attend, please ensure someone from your leadership team can.

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members. In 2020 and 2021, the Extension Foundation has awarded 85% of its direct funding back to the Cooperative Extension System, 100% of funds are used to support Cooperative Extension initiatives.
