ICYMI: Connect Extension Chat: Virtual Field Days

More than 50 Cooperative Extension professionals from across the nation gathered virtually to discuss Virtual Field Days. The chat contains a wealth of tips, links and lessons learned.

Questions that were posed (and capably answered!) include:

  • What are some ideas to move a Field Days event online?
  •  What examples of virtual Field Days have you done/seen/been a part of? Please describe and share links, if possible.
  • For those who have done virtual Field Days, what were some of the challenges you experienced?

Most of the respondents who have hosted Field Days indicated that participation has been very good, and in many cases, has increased.

The transcript can be found here.

Stay tuned for more virtual chat opportunities!
