Calendar Invitation Issues When Registering for Extension Foundation Events

We would like to thank everyone who reached out to us recently to let us that you are not receiving calendar invitations from our professional, team, and leadership development events. We have identified an issue with our Google Calendar system that is causing several calendar invitations to not be sent to those individuals registering for events. In many cases, individuals register for multiple events and have received only some of their calendar invitations. We have been in contact with Google and they are aware of the issue, and it does appear to be an issue on their end that they are working to resolve. When it is resolved, we expect to go through each of our events and re-deliver those invitations to ensure everybody that has registered receives them.

In the meantime, we will continue to send out email reminders about upcoming events that contain the Zoom connection information. We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this. If you need any technical assistance for these events, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at impact@extension.org.

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members. In 2020 and 2021, the Extension Foundation has awarded 85% of its direct funding back to the Cooperative Extension System, 100% of funds are used to support Cooperative Extension initiatives.
