11 a.m. EDT (9 a.m. MDT) To view this webinar click HERE or visit https://connect.usu.edu/ward2013/

Presented by Ruby Ward, Utah State University Extension

When starting a new farm or ranch business it is important to have a basic understanding of a few tax issues. Unexpected taxes can hurt the financial viability of a new farm business. This webinar will go over some basic concepts that will make complying with tax laws and planning for tax payments easier.

Visit RuralTax.org for more information. This is the first webinar in a two-part series presented on August 29. Both webinars will be recorded and available for later viewing.

These webinars are made possible through a grant from USDA-Risk Management Agency and Utah State University Extension.

They are for extension educators, farmers and ranchers, and accountants working with farmers and ranchers.
