National Urban Extension Leaders

Get engaged with NUEL! The National Urban Extension Leaders (NUEL) began in 2013 as a grass-roots effort of a group of passionate and committed urban Extension educators with the mission to advocate and advance the strategic importance and long-term value of urban Extension activities by being relevant locally, responsive statewide, and recognized nationally.

YOUR HELP NEEDED collecting urban workforce development programs

The Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) Workforce Development Program Action Team (PAT), in partnership with the Extension Foundation, is in the process of developing an Extension network for workforce development. Key to this effort is identifying a point of contact at each land-grant university to learn about Extension's workforce development efforts across the country. This effort will help guide the work of the PAT, will be shared with Extension directors through a report, and will be communicated with USDA. Your help is needed for this important endeavor. Please provide the information below or forward this survey to the appropriate contact(s) to complete. We thank you in advance for your help with these efforts.

If you have questions or need more information please contact the Workforce Development Extension Network Fellow at workforce@extension.org.

You are invited to contribute your projects, programs, or curricula to the New Workforce Development National Assessment. The Extension Committee on Organization and Policy Workforce Development Action Team, in partnership with the Extension Foundation, is developing an interactive data set of Workforce Development program offerings offered by Cooperative Extension across all regions.   The National Registry is located at extension.org/registry/
