The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is currently receiving applications to become one of fifteen early career scholars to become Health Equity Scholars for Action. The goal of the Health Equity Scholars for Action (HES4A) program is to enhance the supports, resources, and community necessary for participants with historically underrepresented backgrounds (HURs) to thrive professionally and personally. In turn, scholars will actively engage in health equity-related research that helps dismantle systemic and structural barriers to health and wellbeing. Awardees can receive up to $260,000 for 24 months to advance these personal and professional goals. An applicant webinar is scheduled for May 10 with letters of intent due May 31.
