In this webinar we’ll discuss how to develop your idea by identifying the opportunity/problem, a potential solution, and gaining the support of others. In addition, this module covers SBIR topic areas, literature review, research design, and determining the commercialization potential of your idea.The target audiences are (1) innovative small businesses (less then 500 employees) impacting rural areas, especially women- and minority-owned firms; and (2) Extension professional who work with small innovative firms. This is part two of a three part series, and part of a national effort led by the Western Rural Development Center (at Utah State University) and presented by Scott Dockum, SBIR Program Coordinator/COR, USDA NIFA.
