Understanding Health Disparities and the Importance of Health Equity
Join Veronica Jones, PhD, MPH, CHES on Wednesday April 17th at 12:30pm as she discusses Understanding Health Disparities and the Importance of Health Equity. Differences in health status and outcomes vary depending on factors such as income, education, or neighborhood. People with greater disadvantage experience more disparities in health. In this session, we will define health disparities and health equity and provide ways in which you can promote healthy equity in your community.
