Survive or Struggle: Your Choice in a Business Disaster

How would your business respond to a power outage? What about a computer crash or a broken water pipe? When we talk about small business disasters, our thoughts usually turn to something big. But disasters come in all shapes and sizes. Bottom line -- Are you ready for whatever disaster heads your way?

Glenn Muske is our featured presenter for this session. He is a Rural and Agribusiness Enterprise Development specialist for the North Dakota State University. In his role he helps prospective, start-up and existing business owners with everything from idea development to growing and operating the business.

Rick Atterberry will moderate the session. He is the Marketing and Distribution Services Team Leader in the College of Agriculture, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and current EDEN chair.

This webinar is brought to you by the Extension Disaster Education Network CoP and the Entrepreneurs and their Communities COP. The 60-minute session is for business owners, independent entrepreneurs, and Extension professionals.

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members. In 2020 and 2021, the Extension Foundation has awarded 85% of its direct funding back to the Cooperative Extension System, 100% of funds are used to support Cooperative Extension initiatives.
