Human salmonellosis outbreaks in backyard flocks occur yearly. Transmission of diseases between poultry and humans can be a problem if proper care is not taken. Dr. Jacquie Jacob from the University of Kentucky will discuss how backyard flock owners can stay healthy while keeping a backyard flock.
