Sea Grant Fisheries Extension Network Webinar Series, No 3: The Sea Grant Network Responds to Tourism Opportunities in Fishing and Aquaculture

Tourism can provide financial return for those in commercial fishing and aquaculture, and can also play a role in connecting seafood consumers with seafood producers.  The result can be an economic engine that also pays benefits in educating our citizens about the many important issues in seafood production, processing, transport and marketing.  The Sea Grant network of seafood extension professionals has been engaged in this issue for many years, with programs tailored to the local assets, constraints and needs.  This webinar will highlight some of these activities from around the network, and will serve to connect extension agents and others together, so that we can learn from one another and facilitate connections for future collaborations.
