About this Webinar
The negative impact of traumatic events can extend beyond those who directly experienced the trauma to caregivers who provide services to
traumatized individuals, placing them for secondary traumatic stress. The experience of secondary traumatic stress can lead to impairment in
social and occupational functioning. In this presentation Dr. Bride will introduce attendees to the concept of secondary traumatic stress, describe
the symptoms of secondary traumatic stress, and discuss strategies to minimize the negative impact of secondary traumatic stress.
