Ready Community: Vulnerability and Resilience

Studies have shown that resilient communities are those that can prepare for, respond to, and rebound quickly from disasters. These abilities do not happen by chance. Dr. Deborah Tootle, Iowa State University Extension, will explain how planning and reducing vulnerabilities contribute to community resilience.

Andrea Higdon, Emergency Management System Director for the College of Agriculture, Food and Envronment, University of Kentucky, will moderate.
