Process Pathways from Wood to Transportation Fuels: Seeking Suitable Scale

Presenter: Peter Van Walsum, University of Maine

There are many pathways that can process wood to liquid transportation fuels. All of them work, and all of them are a challenge to scale down to a throughput suitable for biomass utilization. This webinar will explore current and developing technologies for conversion of woody biomass to liquid transportation fuels, and their prospects for operation at biomass-suitable scale.
