Organic honey bee management practices are based on implementing approved chemical and cultural methods for pest and pathogen control. However, experimental data is scarce about the benefits that implementing such practices has on colony health and productivity. In this webinar, you will learn how to effectively implement organic management practices into a beekeeping operation, and the advantages that such practices have on colony survival and honey production. While implementing organic management does not imply the possibility of organic certification of honey bee products, our studies demonstrate that this management system supports healthy and productive honey bee colonies.
