Online Resources You Can Use to Promote Agricultural Safety and Health

The main goal of this webinar is to update health and safety educators, researchers, and outreach professionals on current resources used to educate and train audiences on agricultural safety and health topics through this interactive session. Dr. Yoder will present some of the national efforts where he has had a role, as well as ask participants to share the resources they are involved with or use on a regular basis. This webinar will be recorded for later viewing and will be a great way to identify resources for the upcoming National Farm Safety and Health Week.

Dr. Yoder's presentation will be 30 minutes followed by 15 minutes of interaction time and questions/answers. If you have questions about the webinar, please contact Linda Fetzer (lmf8@psu.edu).

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members. In 2020 and 2021, the Extension Foundation has awarded 85% of its direct funding back to the Cooperative Extension System, 100% of funds are used to support Cooperative Extension initiatives.
