This is an introduction to moderating an Elluminate Live! session. From scheduling a session (using NCSU's session manager) to preparing for and managing the event. This will be a hand's on session. You will get to 'play' with most of the tools available to presenters.

Even if your organization doesn't have a web conferencing program available to you, you can web conference with up to 3 people for free from LearnCentral.org http://www.elluminate.com/Services/Training/Elluminate_vSpaces_Training/?id=371

You will need to have a headset (or microphone and speakers) and the necessary software installed (Java). See: http://support.blackboardcollaborate.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=8336 to verify that you have the need software installed.

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members. In 2020 and 2021, the Extension Foundation has awarded 85% of its direct funding back to the Cooperative Extension System, 100% of funds are used to support Cooperative Extension initiatives.
