Manure Gas Safety

In the weeks ahead as crops are harvested, manure storage systems will be emptied. The recent incident of a young farmer who died while agitating a non-enclosed manure storage system has increased awareness related to manure gases. While we wait on final results of the investigation, we invite you to join us for a Manure Gas Safety Webinar on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon CDT.

We will discuss what is known about manure gases and health considerations, recent incidents, safety precautions and emergency response procedures. PNAAW members can receive Level 2 credits for this webinar.
