Let's Get Physical: Aerobic Activities and Understanding the Physical Activity Intensity Scale
Join Ricardo Kairios, MS and Mercer County FCHS Educator on Wednesday November 20th at 12:30pm as he discusses Let's Get Physical: Aerobic Activities and Understanding the Physical Activity Intensity Scale. The current physical activity recommendations for aerobic activity are to engage in 150 to 300 minutes of moderate-intensity activity per week. You may be asking, “What does moderate intensity mean?” or “How do I use the intensity scale while being active?”. Join Ricardo Kairios, FCHS Educator / Assistant Professor, to learn the basics about the activity intensity scale, how you can identify your level of intensity while being active, and strategies you can use during activity to help increase the intensity of your activity.
