Introduction to Study Design: Nutrition and Health Research

Do you sometimes encounter questions about nutrition and health research while out in field? From the Dr. Oz show to numerous fad diets that come and go, we live in a time where quackery and credential mongering reign. Additionally, some research results are being held as gospel and displayed inappropriately as fact. Perhaps you have a number of questions pertaining to study designs. Does a result obtained in an animal-model study pertain to humans? What does double-blinding mean? Would you like to know more about the different study designs and how they fit into the puzzle of evidence? If so, this webinar may interest you.
