Introducing the New Smarter Lunchrooms Scorecard for Assessing Lunchroom Successes

The Smarter Lunchrooms Movement has created a quick and easy tool to help you become a lunchroom hero! The Smarter Lunchrooms Self-Assessment Scorecard takes about 10 minutes to fill out and helps point you in the direction of change while highlighting all of the great work you’re already doing! On this webinar Kate Hoy, MFN, RD, CDN, manager of the Cornell Center for Behavioral Economics in Child Nutrition Programs, the sponsor of the Smarter Lunchrooms Movement, will introduce the Scorecard,  review how to use it, and answer some FAQs. 

Learning Objectives: 

  • Attendees will be able to identify two ways the SLM Scorecard could assist their school/school district
  • Attendees will have an entry level understanding for how to evaluate a lunchroom using the SLM Scorecard
  • Attendees will be able to identify two policies which include SLM Scorecard scores

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs.
