Using best management practices is about more than decreasing erosion. This webinar will focus on adoption of place-based conservation practices to improve water quality. The presentations discuss why using different conservation practices in different areas is important, and how programs in the Erie and Chesapeake Bay watersheds are encouraging best management practices by decreasing barriers to manure transport and adding incentives for using manure properly.
An application for continuing education credit for Certified Crop Advisors (CCAs) and members of the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS) will be submitted.
Presenters include:
- Merrin Macrae, University of Waterloo
