According to Pew Internet Research, 90% of teens aged 12-17 are online -- and 85% of those teens are involved in at least one social network. Social media plays an increasingly larger role in the lives of children and youth. What does this all mean? How are social networks beneficial for youth? What dangers are there? What do youth development professionals and parents need to be aware and what can they do?
