Hyperketonemia Treatment at the Individual Cow and Herd Level

In this webinar, Dr. McArt will briefly review the physiology of hyperketonemia development as well as Îē-hydroxybutyrate concentration cut points to use in treatment decision making. Dr. McArt will discuss common treatments, including:
  • medication
  • method of action
  • dose
  • duration
  • effect
Herd-level testing and treatment strategies will be presented as well as action recommendations following herd prevalence estimation.
