Family Finances Series: Raising Financially Responsible Children

This is a free webinar hosted by the Personal Finance and Family Development concentration areas of the Military Families Learning Network.


Neale Godfrey will deliver a 90-minute webinar discussing the importance of raising financially responsible children. This interactive learning opportunity will include quizzes for parents and children to determine their financial management style and offer guidance for teaching financial responsibility to children.

CEU Information:

MFLN Family Development anticipates being able to provide 1.5 CEUs through the University of Texas at Austin's School of Social Work. These educational hours may be submitted by professionals to meet continuing education requirements for renewal of Social Work, Professional Counselor, and Marriage and Family Therapist licenses. The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work is an approved CEU provider in all but the following 11 states: Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, and Oklahoma.
However, participants are encouraged to check with their states' latest licensing rules to confirm reciprocity and CEU rules.

She is currently Executive in Residence at the Columbia Graduate School of Business and is a weekly contributor at Forbes.com, averaging 100,000 page views per week. She also hosts regular discussions on her web platform, NealeGodfrey.com.

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members.
