Connection Information Available for Members Here

Don't miss this week's Social Café, slated for Thursday 4/9 at 10:00 a.m. PST.

This week's guest is Brook Gamble, a Community Educational Specialist with the University of California Extension Cal Naturalist program. Brook and her colleagues are using Instagram Stories in creative ways to share #scicomm information about California's ecosystems, citizen science and more.

Brook will discuss Cal Nat's strategy, what they're learning, how they measure impact and what's worked.  She'll be available to answer questions during our chat time.

The eXtension Social Café will provide a weekly opportunity for informal, drop-in conversations and questions about the effective use of social media and communications in Extension work. Each Social Café will open with a 5-15 minute “tutorial” of a tool or feature on commonly used social platforms, or a brief showcase of a Cooperative Extension employee who is using digital communications in innovative and effective ways. The remainder of the time will be devoted to sharing, discussion and Q&A.

Every Thursday at 10 a.m. PST March 26th – April 30th (series of 6)

Hosted by Rose Hayden-Smith, PhD, Technology in Extension Education Fellow
