EDEN and FEMA Introduce America's PrepareAthon!

America's PrepareAthon!  was launched in 2013 as a national, grassroots campaign for action to increase community preparedness and resilience through hazard-specific drills, group discussions, and exercises. The goals of the campaign are to increase the number of individuals who:

  • Understand which disasters could happen in the community;
  • Know what to do to be safe and mitigate damage;
  • Take action to increase their preparedness; and
  • Participate in community resilience planning.

Join EDEN Communications Specialist Abby Hostetler and FEMA Program Specialist Kirsten Roth to learn more about America's PrepareAthon!, how you can participate in the April 30 National PrepareAthon! Day, and how these materials can complement EDEN disaster preparedness courses.

Please register for the webinar at  https://icpd.adobeconnect.com/eden1/event/registration.html. (Note the seminar room will open 30 minutes prior to start of the webinar.)
