County Health Rankings - First Things First: Priority Setting

The County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation program, is hosting a webinar titled First Things First: Priority Setting.

How can you collaboratively set priorities efficiently and effectively in a way that builds on what the data say and honors multiple voices from the community? Join us as we will examine how to collaboratively set priorities building on data while also honoring multiple voices in the community. This short webinar will introduce a priority setting process and decision tool that can be used to select issues to focus on or strategies to implement. First Things First, a priority setting toolkit from the National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO), will be featured and we’ll show you where to find it in our Action Center. We’ll also share a community example and have time for Q&A. All in a quick 20 minutes!

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members. In 2020 and 2021, the Extension Foundation has awarded 85% of its direct funding back to the Cooperative Extension System, 100% of funds are used to support Cooperative Extension initiatives.
