Communication and Response in a Foreign Animal Disease Outbreak

State Veterinarian Dr. Paul McGraw and Assistant State Veterinarian Dr. Darlene Konkle will be hosting an informational webinar to discuss testing, response and communication procedures in the event of a lab sample positive for a Foreign Animal Disease (FAD) or a FAD outbreak. They will discuss the sampling, testing processes to help local partners in Wisconsin understand what goes on behind the scenes every day but can lead to the diagnosis of a FAD. Additionally, they will discuss the β€œnext steps” after a positive result occurs.
