Chef Patrick's Pals, Nutrition and Culinary Program

Patrick Sandoval, Chef & Nutritionist will highlight his program Chef Patrick's Pals, an affordable, interactive, educational, and exciting nutrition and food program. The program can be utilized in any line of business, in place of, or in conjunction with, already existing Health and Wellness Plans.  With just a little training, any business can implement this fun program!  The objectives of Chef Patrick’s talk are to equip viewers with the information necessary to:

  • Develop a food and nutrition program that uses relevant and interactive food demonstrations that are fun, low cost and/or free.
  • Partner with the community to make existing programs even better!
  • Utilize the media and the internet to enhance enthusiasm for existing programs and encourage growth

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members.
