Cattle and Feedstuff Market Outlook and Considerations

James Robb, Senior Agricultural Economist at the Livestock Marketing Information Center (LMIC) will present the fifth segment of the MSU Extension Fire and Drought Webinar Series, Thursday, Aug. 30 at 9:30 am.

Robb’s presentation, “Cattle and Feedstuff Market Outlook and Considerations,” will address how current drought conditions relate to economics within the industry. Robb has written hundreds of articles on agricultural marketing and livestock industry topics and is a regular speaker on the subject throughout North America.

The LMIC is a cooperative effort with state university extension specialists, USDA economists and industry experts. Currently 29 state Extension services, including Montana State University Extension, participate, along with Federal partner agencies and various livestock industry organizations. The LMIC was recognized by The American Agricultural Economics Association for “Excellence in Extension Program Delivery.”

Robb’s session is free and open to the public. The MSU Extension Fire and Drought Webinar Series is being archived along with other relevant fire and drought resources at http://www.msuextension.org/wildfire.
