CADEN Webinar Series - "Arts, Design, and Tourism"

CADEN, the Community Arts and Design in Extension Network, is a multi-state network of Extension professional working in community arts and design. In 2024, we are offering a quarterly virtual webinar series to educate about topics, practices, and strategies that CADEN members are currently using in their work.

Thursday, June 6 is our second session focused on "Tourism". Arts and Design can be important elements for any Extension professional interested in tourism-related efforts, including agritourism or community development. You'll hear about the "First Impressions Tourism (FIT)" in Michigan; Michigan ArtShare; and agritourism initiatives in Michigan.

Speakers:

  • Will Cronin (Community Development and Tourism Educator at Michigan State University Extension)
  • Diane Wilson (Executive Director, Michigan ArtShare at Michigan State University Extension)
  • Garrett Ziegler (Community Food Systems Educator at Michigan State University Extension)

The webinar is free, but please register for the Zoom link.
