Nutrition problems plague many backyard flocks resulting in low or no egg production, health problems (especially reproductive), and welfare issues. Dr. Wilmer Pacheco, Extension Specialist and Associate Professor with the Department of Poultry Science at Auburn University will be discussing the basic nutritional needs for backyard poultry and how you can save costs by mixing your own feed.
